Most founders think they need more leads.
More traffic.
Lower CPL.
Another agency.
Another tactic.
But after sitting down with Eddy Miranda—our first-ever return guest on Million Dollar Standard—it became clear that marketing doesn’t usually fail because of ads.
It fails because the leader isn’t willing to let data tell the truth.
Eddy doesn’t operate from hype or theory. He’s in the numbers daily—running ads, building funnels, watching conversion behavior, and making decisions based on what’s actually happening in the market.
And that’s what makes this episode essential.
Because scaling isn’t about being louder.
It’s about having a standard high enough to face reality—and act on it.
Eddy Miranda works at the intersection of leadership and execution.
He doesn’t separate identity from outcomes.
He’s not just “running ads.”
He’s evaluating full ecosystems:
offers
funnels
backend economics
risk tolerance
decision quality
That’s why this conversation went far beyond tactics.
It became a masterclass in how leaders think when they’re serious about sustainable growth.
When asked what number matters most, Eddy didn’t hesitate.
Not cost per lead.
Not impressions.
Not vanity metrics.
The filter is simple:
AOV to CAC.
Average Order Value relative to Cost to Acquire a Customer.
That single ratio determines:
how much risk is acceptable
whether a funnel is doing its job
if scaling is logical or reckless
when to increase spend—or stop
Low-ticket offers aren’t meant to be profit engines.
They’re designed to acquire the right customer at a known cost.
If a founder doesn’t understand that distinction, no amount of traffic will save them.
This is The Million Dollar Standard applied to marketing:
clarity before volume.
One of the most common breakdowns Eddy sees is businesses obsessing over lead volume while ignoring what happens after the opt-in.
Cheap leads.
High volume.
No buyers.
The problem isn’t traffic.
It’s qualification, positioning, and backend economics.
Eddy explained that when a webinar or funnel isn’t converting, the solution isn’t to push harder—it’s to look deeper:
Are the right people showing up?
Are they staying through the offer?
Does the offer actually solve a problem they recognize?
Leads don’t equal revenue.
Alignment does.
This was one of the most important leadership lessons in the episode.
Founders often expect ads to compensate for:
unclear positioning
weak transformation
emotional attachment to bad offers
Ads don’t fix those issues.
They amplify them.
Eddy shared multiple examples where data made the truth undeniable:
strong click-through rates
solid show-up rates
attention held through the pitch
zero conversions
At that point, there’s nowhere to hide.
The leader has two options:
defend the offer emotionally
pivot intelligently
Only one leads to growth.
Eddy’s approach to scaling is disciplined, not aggressive.
He doesn’t increase spend unless:
the funnel metrics align
bump offers convert
upsells perform
the backend ascension works
If the tail end is broken, adding budget only accelerates loss.
This is where most businesses sabotage themselves:
they want the reward of scale without the responsibility of refinement.
Scaling is earned.
A critical point Eddy made is that media buying alone is becoming obsolete.
Agencies that only “run ads” without owning funnel visibility are flying blind.
Without access to:
conversion data
funnel behavior
offer performance
they can’t diagnose real problems.
That’s why Eddy believes the future belongs to creative, systems-aware agencies—not button-pushers.
Marketing is an ecosystem.
If you don’t understand the whole system, you can’t lead it.
As Eddy’s standards have risen, his client selection has narrowed.
He no longer works with:
untested offers
founders with no backend
people who panic at early data
clients who want babysitting instead of leadership
Instead, he ascends clients intentionally:
coaching first
systems built together
offers validated
then done-for-you support
This protects everyone involved.
High standards reduce chaos.
Eddy doesn’t dismiss intuition—but he doesn’t worship it either.
Data leads.
Gut confirms.
Leaders sabotage results when they:
ignore data they don’t like
make decisions from fear
pull the plug too early
blame traffic instead of offers
Data tells a story.
Leaders decide whether to listen.
This episode reinforced a truth every serious founder must confront:
Marketing always works.
Not instantly.
Not magically.
But predictably—when leaders are willing to:
look at reality
refine instead of react
pivot without ego
raise their personal standard
Ads don’t fail businesses.
Low standards do.

I joined because I've seen their processes and loved her other programs, and in talking to her, I feel so much confidence around their processes and it gave me hope!
I highly recommend them to other entrepreneurs.
Michelle came to us super frustrated with her lack of results with a "big name" agency. She had dreamed of working with them, but they just didn't deliver on their promises. After a year of losing revenue with failed ad campaigns, Michelle decided to work with Jodi again.
Within 12 days of taking over the account, the ROAS turned positive and the account was able to be scaled beautifully and profitably.
Suzanne was introduced to Jodi through an industry friend and marketer who knew Jodi could help Suzanne with her Facebook Ads. Before working with Jodi, Suzanne had made exactly ZERO sales from Facebook Ads. That all changed with Jodi's strategic advice and approach, allowing Suzanne to feel confident about her offers and funnels again.
